CP 31 days of facts: day 26
Day twenty-six: I'm not totally sure how to put this into fact form but I know it is, so bare with me. Having CP is one thing, but having a movement disorder is an addition to it. It's kinda like a tree, the brain injury is the roots, CP is the trunk, and the branches are seizure disorders, speech disorders and movement disorders. For example, I have CP, I actually don't have a whole lot of Cerebral Palsy, but I do have it. What makes life hard isn't my CP, but my movement disorder and my speech disorder, for the most part anyway We just don't want to say, "Hi! I'm Kelcie, and I have Athetoid Cerebral Palsy, a movement disorder, a speech disorder, and I used to have a seizure disorder too." So we just put it all under the CP umbrella.
