Encourage your friends!
Whenever I see someone with disability not playing a game or something, I always want to go up to them and encourage them to JOIN IN and not to limit themselves. Do I actually do that? No, but I should. I know if you're disabled, you slower than everyone else. But who cares?! If they don't want to wait for you to take your turns, well, that's not really your problem. I know from experience that teaching people about disabilities can get old and annoying. One thing that EVERYONE should already know is patience. Patience is needed in so many things in life. Sometimes I feel like for some people they are patient and then they go somewhere where there's someone with a disability and they lose their patience. I wanted to write something along these lines about three years ago, because I had a friend at camp who had a cane and he wouldn't join what we call "Water Wars", because he was "the guy with a stick". It bugged me, but then again I didn't join Water Wars either, I was just being lazy. The Bible says, "With man nothing is possible but with God all things are possible.", there's also a quote that says, "impossible says I'm possible.". Do whatever you want to! Because one of the greatest pleasures in life is doing what people say you can't. I saw my friend from camp today at Costco, and I wish that I'd encouraged him three years ago at camp. I don't know if I'll be at that camp as a camper again, maybe I will and maybe I won't. I'm positive that I will see him and his sisters at other events. My advice to you is:
1. Encourage others to be limitless.
2. Take your own advice (be limitless too and don't be lazy like I was).
3. Watch God do the amazing things that He does!
